Tahoe Bike

Bike MonthJune is Bike Month in Lake Tahoe!
Bike to Work Month promotes a healthy, environmentally-friendly commute to work, school, and play gets basin residents out of their cars, and reduces traffic. Encouraging bicycling is good for your business! Employees and patrons arrive in a good mood, parking needs are reduced, and our community is a friendly place with many people out on bikes.

May 31 - June 6, 2010: Tahoe Bike Week
In 2009 over 450 Lake Tahoe and Truckee residents rode their bikes to work during Bike to Work, School & Play Week, logging more than 23,000 miles!  Commuters, students, and visitors were all encouraged to participate in the Challenge.  Click the links below for more details on the 2009 Challenge, and make sure to check back in mid-April for info on Tahoe Bike Week 2010.
